All capitalized terms used herein but not defined herein shall have the meanings given to them in our Terms of Use.

Apver Marketplace is a Venue

Apver Marketplace is a venue which connects people who want to buy, sell, trade or give to their neighbors — locally and in-person. Apver Marketplace is not involved in the transactions between Users and does not monitor private communications between Users. To learn more about Apver Marketplace, see how it works.

Availability of User information

User information is held by Apver Marketplace in accordance with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If information has been deleted from our website, we may no longer have access to it. Apver Marketplace does not have access to content stored on third-party websites. Some User information is public and anyone on the Internet can see it. Certain information is private, such as email addresses, passwords and messages between Users. When a User enters an address, it is private by default, however the User has the option to make the address public. Additionally, a User may choose to hide closed posts, making them private. See our Privacy Policy for more information on the data we collect from Users.

Requesting User Information

Our top concern is the privacy and safety of our Users. Apver Marketplace will not disclose User information unless required to do so by applicable law, subpoena, court order or legal process, or if the disclosure will directly ensure the safety of our Users. Apver Marketplace is located in New York City and will respond in compliance with New York and U.S. law to a subpoena, court order or other valid legal process to disclose information about our Users.

Apver Marketplace accepts legal process from law enforcement agencies delivered by physical mail or personal delivery. Apver Marketplace requests that law enforcement agencies also send a copy of the legal process by email. Acceptance of legal process by these means is for convenience only and does not waive any objections, including lack of jurisdiction or proper service.

Your request should include the URL of the Apver Marketplace User corner, post or message in question and details about what specific information is requested. If the URL is no longer available, please provide specific search criteria such as User name, corner name, date range, tags, screenshots, etc. Please indicate the preferred method of delivery for response: email or physical mail.

You can send your request by mail or by personal delivery to Apver Marketplace at:

Apver Marketplace
Attn: Legal Dept.
270 Lafayette Street, Suite 1300
New York, NY 10012

You can email an additional copy of your request to [email protected].

Notifying Users of Disclosure

Our general policy is to notify Users of requests for their information prior to disclosure unless we are prohibited from doing so by statute or court order.
